Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Clipp Hero, the AI-powered haircut planning and barber-discovery platform that helps users create style briefs, upload reference media, generate shareable plans, and connect with barbers.

We collect only the data needed to deliver those features. Clipp Hero does not sell personal information. Privacy and support requests use support@clipphero.app.

Clipp Hero may collect limited information necessary to provide platform functionality, including:

• Name, account, and authentication data (including Clerk session identifiers)
• Email address and profile details you provide
• Hair profile answers, style preferences, guard/blend specs, and free-text notes
• Reference photos and other media you upload or capture with your device camera
• Style plans, project metadata, QR/share tokens, and appointment-related records you create
• Precise GPS coordinates when you explicitly tap “Use my location”
• Device, browser, approximate location inferred from IP when GPS is unavailable, and session diagnostics
• Customer-support correspondence you send to support@clipphero.app

We do not require every optional feature. Features that need credentials or uploads degrade gracefully until configured.

We use information to:

• Provide Clipp Hero functionality you requested
• Authenticate you, keep sessions secure, and prevent abuse
• Generate style briefs and store plans in your workspace
• Issue and resolve opaque share/QR tokens for barber views
• Respond to customer-support and privacy requests
• Improve reliability, debug failures, and meet legal obligations

We do not use your private photos or style notes to train public foundation models. Model providers process prompts solely to return the assistant response for your request when AI generation is enabled.

Clipp Hero does not sell personal information. User data is processed only for platform functionality and operational purposes you requested. You may request account deletion or data access by emailing support@clipphero.app.

Tenant isolation: Clipp Hero stores each customer's records under that customer's workspace. We do not use one customer's private media or plans to populate another customer's product.

Reference media is stored in private object storage under workspace-scoped paths. Short-lived signed upload or read URLs may be issued to your browser. Permanent private storage URLs are not exposed publicly.

Device camera access is requested only when you choose Take live photo or Device camera. We do not access your camera in the background. You can deny permission and continue with library uploads.

Shareable barber cards use opaque tokens. Tokens can expire or be revoked. Invalid tokens do not reveal plan contents.

Precise GPS is requested only when you tap Use my location on barber discovery. If you deny permission or your device cannot provide coordinates, Clipp Hero falls back to a regional default (Los Angeles) so discovery remains usable. We do not continuously track your location in the background.

We implement commercially reasonable security measures designed to protect user information, including encrypted connections, authenticated access controls, and workspace isolation of stored data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we will notify you of a breach affecting your personal information as required by law.

Clipp Hero may integrate with third-party providers including cloud hosting (such as Vercel and Supabase), AI model providers, authentication (Clerk), and payment processors when billing is enabled. Those providers process data under their own terms, limited to the purpose we hired them for.

Customer support for Clipp Hero is available at support@clipphero.app. When you contact support, Breadcrumbzs Tech Inc. staff receive the information you submit in order to help you. Please do not send passwords or access tokens through support email.

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, and security requirements. Account deletion (when enabled) removes or de-identifies personal information we are not required to keep.

Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, export, or delete personal information we hold about you. Submit requests to support@clipphero.app. We will verify the request belongs to the account holder before fulfilling it.

If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have additional rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information as those laws define "sale," and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Authorized-agent requests and appeals: email support@clipphero.app with "Privacy Request" in the subject. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Clipp Hero is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support@clipphero.app and we will delete it.

Breadcrumbzs Tech Inc. is based in the United States. If you access Clipp Hero from another country, your information is processed in the United States and in the countries where our subprocessors operate. By using the service you understand that U.S. law may differ from the law of your residence.

We use cookies and similar technologies that are required to sign you in (Clerk session), keep the product working, and understand aggregate reliability. We do not use advertising cookies to sell your data. You can block cookies in your browser; some features (including sign-in) will not work without essential cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of Clipp Hero after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. The effective date at the top of this page is the current version.
